1. Who we are
Calc AI Ltd (“CalcAI”, “we”, “us”) operates calcai.co.uk. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Our contact address is hello@calcai.co.uk.
2. Data we collect
Calculator usage (no personal data)
Calculator inputs are processed client-side in your browser. We do not collect or store your calculator inputs unless you submit a lead-capture form. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be collected via Google Analytics 4 if you consent.
Lead-capture forms
If you submit a quote-request form, we collect: full name, email address, telephone number, postcode (first part only), and the calculator inputs that generated your result (excluding PII). This data is encrypted at rest in our Supabase database and retained for a maximum of 30 days if not passed to a partner, or deleted upon your request at any time.
AI Insights
AI-generated explanations are powered by OpenAI (GPT-4o mini). We send only your calculator inputs — no name, email, phone, or full postcode is ever sent to OpenAI. See OpenAI’s privacy policy at openai.com/privacy.
3. Cookies
We use strictly essential cookies only until you interact with a call-to-action button.

4. Lead sharing
When you submit a quote-request form, your contact details are shared with the partner named on the form. Current partners include: MCS-certified solar installer networks, SRA-regulated conveyancer panels, ICAEW/ACCA-qualified accountant directories, and FCA-authorised IFA networks. Partners are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing the requested quote.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing, and data portability. To exercise any right, email privacy@calcai.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
